Great Work this Summer with the Rep and Analysis Class for Interior Design!
This course presents modes of visual representation in which students develop an understanding and practice of communicating design ideas. The course surveys the fundamentals of architectural drawing as tools for the design and implementation of spatial ideas. Students will be exposed to freehand drawing and a number of projection methods (interior design drawing conventions) including orthographic, axonometric, isometric, and perspective drawing as well as requisite concepts of measurement, scale, and geometry. Exploring with representation techniques via collage, rendering, and Photoshop will offer an intentional lens through which the presentation of design will be conceptually clear. Interior designers use these drawing methods to develop their ideas with clients and with builders.
